local girl Gallery was opened as a gathering place welcoming artistic expression, community involvement & friendship. We offer a fine selection of handcrafted artwork from more than eighty local and regional artists specializing in new emerging artists. Works range from jewelry, hand painted silks, acrylic and oil paintings to blown glass, pottery, photography and much more.
To encourage the creative spirit in all of us, the gallery features a working studio where classes in a variety of mediums are offered for both children and adults. We have an intimate space that is suitable for hosting a number of venues both public and private. If you are interested in holding a private engagement, book signing, birthday party, girls night out, music release, workshop or fundraiser, please contact the gallery for availability.

GUIDELINES
If
you are an artist and would like to exhibit in local girl Gallery either as a
featured artist or vendor please follow the guidelines below:
- You may submit art work in the form of slides, photographs or a URL where we
can review the work online.
- Please label your
slides or photographs with the artist’s name, title of work, date and dimensions.
- Include a brief letter introducing yourself, and a brief description of your
artwork.
Artwork MUST be created within the last 2 years.
The process of reviewing your slides or photographs may take up to a week. You will receive a phone call or e-mail after we have had a chance to look at your images. Please note that while we are happy to review your work, our exhibition schedule is planned in advance, and is carefully balanced to present our viewers with a varied artistic program.
